RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

1. Your right to cancel or return

You may cancel your order or return any item within 14 days of receiving it, or within 14 days of receiving the last item if your order arrived in more than one delivery. You do not need to give a reason.

To exercise this right, notify us within that 14-day window. Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to send the items back to us.

2. How to start a return or cancellation

If you checked out using a phone number only, you will not be able to use the link above. Please use the returns link in your SMS order confirmation instead.

You can also contact us at support@finescents.co.uk with your order number and the item or items you wish to return. We will send you the returns address and any instructions.

3. Condition of returned goods

Items must be returned unused, with all original packaging, labels and accessories intact.

Please note: Fine Scents products are sealed for hygiene reasons. Once the seal on a fragrance has been broken, the item cannot be returned unless it is faulty or not as described. This exemption is in accordance with Article 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK consumer law. We will inform you of this before you complete your purchase.

4. Return shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage until your return has been processed.

5. Refunds

Once we receive your return, we will process your refund within 14 days. Your refund will be made to the original payment method and will include the standard outbound delivery cost you paid. If you chose an express or premium delivery option, only the cost of standard delivery will be refunded.

Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to make the funds available in your account.

6. Cancellations before dispatch

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been fulfilled and dispatched. To cancel, please contact us as soon as possible at support@finescents.co.uk or use the account link above. If your order has already been dispatched, please follow the returns process instead.

7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product and packaging. We will arrange a refund, replacement or other remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

8. Exchanges

If you would like an exchange rather than a refund, please let us know when you get in touch. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If we cannot fulfil an exchange, we will issue a refund.

9. Your legal rights

This policy does not limit your rights under applicable consumer law. If you are based in the European Union, your rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive apply in full. If you are based in the United Kingdom, your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. Where there is any conflict between this policy and your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.
